The UU Coffee House Music series will resume this fall and winter, with four high quality musical groups performing on Saturday nights, with the first one on Saturday, October 21st, form 7:30 to 11:00 pm, featuring the Linda Hicks + Some Jazz Dudes Band! Ms. Hicks is well known in the area, and will be singing vocals to an eclectic mix of current and jazz standards. Keyboardist Garry Smith, Bassist Hunt Wiley, and drummer Larry Guentert will be nailing down the groove and playing the solos. Doors will open at 7:00 at UU in the Fellowship Hall. Mark your calendars so that you don't miss this performance of some of Lafayette's best musicians!
The sign up sheets are on the Membership bulletin board in the hallway outside the Narthex, please sign up! If you work one 4 hour shift you get a weekend pass (Feast Button) but we would appreciate more than one shift. This is a wonderful fundraiser and a chance to really get involved with the Feast. Come in your own period costume or borrow one of ours.
If you are interested in Coordinating the booth or being a cashier please see Jada Haughey or contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org or 765-430-3214.

UPDATING THE UUCTC DATABASE UNDERWAY!
If you have moved, changed email addresses or phone numbers please email John Carlson at email@example.com. so he can update it in the church's database software. He is also developing a process to reduce the number of statuses to make it easier to track information.
Gigantic thanks to John for taking on this time consuming and arduous task!
From the Social Justice Committee:
"Thank you" to all who contributed to our bi-annual Goodwill Clothing Drive. We earned $600 worth of Goodwill Vouchers which have been donated to Lafayette Urban Ministries. Giving is not an act. It's a lifestyle.
