After our church was vandalized with hateful banners on January 21, we have received messages of support from individuals and congregations across the country. The following message was sent by Bloomington United.
Bloomington United started in 1998 in response to hate literature that was being spread around Bloomington.
After the man who distributed the fliers went on a murderous rampage in 1999, we held a community vigil to heal and unite the community in memory of the young Korean student, Won Joon Yun, who was murdered on the Indiana University campus .
The vigil drew thousands of supporters, including the then Attorney General of the United States, Janet Reno.

You can start by going to our website, uuctc.org and clicking the "Donate" button. Send questions to Alice Pawley (firstname.lastname@example.org). Thank you for your continued support of our church!
On Sunday January 28, 2018 we reclaimed the fence which had been vandalized by racist, homophobic, threatening banners the previous Sunday. What a joy to replace this hate with such hope. The Religious Exploration program will work with the kids to produce a permanent banner replacement.
