Please join us for "The Naturalist John Muir" an In-person service (see guidelines below) or Virtual service via Zoom at uuctc.org/sunday at 10:30 am. Our Order of Service is available at uuctc.org/oos. The Naturalist John Muir felt a calling to prevent our nation’s natural resources from being exploited for commercial purposes. Was he a Pantheist, Buddhist, or Humanist? His theology didn’t fit under one label. But his advocacy for the land, trees, and animals was a gift we still enjoy. This service will be inspired by his joyful spiritual writing.
Starting at the May 1 service, the following Pandemic/Epidemic/Infectious Disease Policy will be in effect, in keeping with changes voted on by the Board at the April Meeting:
No limit on attendance. Masking is recommended, but not required, and congregational singing is allowed. Social distancing recommended as possible, but not required. Vaccination is highly recommended, and generally expected of responsible congregants, but will not be checked. If we can find the volunteers, there will be a coffee hour after the service in the Fellowship Hall. Volunteers should signal their willingness to the board president, Eric Thiel, eathiel@comcast.net, including anyone willing to take the position of organizing this for future services.
These policies will change as needed depending on any infectious disease of concern.
