Reverend Jennie Barrington

The Reverend Jennie Barrington has served as Settled Minister of our congregation since the summer of 2021.  She is a life-long Unitarian Universalist, originally from New England, and has been a UU minister for 26 years.  She has served as interim minister for UU congregations in Chicago, Illinois; Columbia, South Carolina; Little Rock, Arkansas; Fredericksburg, Virginia; South Bend, Fort Wayne, and Terre Haute, Indiana and Pittsfield, Maine.  She was also the UU minister in Winchendon, Massachusetts for seven years.  She has developed a specialty in church finances, stewardship, and capital campaigns.  A long-time advocate for LGBTQ rights, she is known for having officiated twelve legal gay marriages in Little Rock in May of 2014.  For fun, Reverend Jennie loves exploring state parks, reading poetry and mysteries, collecting Vera Bradley handbags, and following college football.

Minister of Religious Education:

Reverend Emily Manvel Leite

Reverend Emily has been our Religious Educator since February of 2024.  She designs and oversees our programs for children and youth from birth through high school with the support of our Religious Education Committee and many generous volunteers.

Reverend Emily was raised Unitarian Universalist and has served UU congregations as a religious educator since 1986 and as a minister since 1995.  Professionally, she particularly loves spending time with children and youth, storytelling, ritual, Spirit Play, and making spaces more beautiful.  In her spare time, she enjoys walking, gardening, baking bread, vegetarian cooking, the outdoors, and ballroom dancing.  She lives with her husband Adam in Bloomington, Indiana,

Nursery Coordinator:

Lacey Feete

Lacey Feete has been our Nursery Coordinator since February of 2026.  Lacey has recently moved to Indiana from Texas, and we are thrilled that she has joined our UUCTC community.  Lacey came to us with many years of experience working with preschoolers, with a particular focus on connecting our littlest children to the natural world.  Her friendliness, deep experience, and thoughtful attention to detail are already transforming our Nursery.
