The UU Wheel of The Year Group and the Guild of the Gods are co-hosting the 2018 Winter Solstice Service and Yule Ball. Gather in Fellowship Hall starting at 6:30 p.m. for the Traditional Winter Solstice evergreen candle spiral beginning at 7 p.m. The service is combination of a walking meditation, singing of chants and poetry readings. Members of the Blue Moon Community Choirs will lend their the talented voices to lead all in the singing. Around 9 pm, transition into a Yule Ball with music, wine, and food. Everyone is encouraged to dress for fun and dancing. Around 11:30, call to silence for a meditation time while cleaning up. Sing final songs and close at midnight. Family friendly!
